So 10,000 Santas walk into a bar

Yesterday was the annual event in New York City Santacon. Thousands of thousands of people dressed in Santa Claus suits, and other seasonally appropriate clothing (friend of the wizard is a perennial favorite, to convince the Jewish people, some dreidels can always show the calculation), whole prance city. Sometimes this time of year clothes bear no obvious relationship. For example, one of my favorite actors, Yesterday, dressed as a giant Chiquita banana people. So, the Red Sea was interrupted a huge yellow fruit.

Sometimes Santa should be absorbed by the organizers suggested tweet. It is said that early fluid absorption is starting at 10:00 am, of course, the day's activities an important part. However, Santacon is not just a pub crawl so much.

Great, is Santacon is not limited to the "Big Apple", although the New York City version of this festival of debauchery by far the largest (I have not seen yesterday's New York City Santacon any iteration number is present, but I heard that the turnout in 2010 was estimated at 10,000). Although the number of unmatched by other cities in New York, Santacons now held in 32 countries around the world.

For the 2011 version of Santacon, the day began to proceed in two different locations: one in Manhattan, the Hudson Terminal and the Brooklyn Bridge Park. I chose the location in midtown Manhattan, because it will be easier to get my Upper East Side apartment. In Marina Bay, the Hudson River waterfront, a pleasant, I joined the Santa considerable force behind the World Financial Center. Final (Marina Cove near the wells, after spending some time), it is time for all of Santa Claus.

Anyhow, after the long-term in the harbor and its many bars and restaurants of the episode, the proposed Santa occupy City Hall Park. Or at least they occupied, until they arrived on the scene New York Police Department, and announced that the park is closed. Site, and then transferred to the Central Station.

Following the Grand Central, announced the end to travel around the New York Public Library steps. The double staircase is famous marble lions on both sides, patience and perseverance. Sadly, my arrival time in front of the library, the steps of Santa Claus. In their place is the best in New York, standing watch some. It took place in City Hall Park from happening again. There's only one thing to do: repair to a nearby bar for some much needed libations.
